There are so many great pictures from our honeymoon drive up the coast, but this is one of my favorites. On the last morning of our trip, I stepped back into our room to do a once-over before we checked out of our final hotel. When I returned to the car, this was what I saw. Cookie had finagled her way to the driver’s seat when we weren’t looking. Since she looked ready to hit the road back home from the Pacific Northwest, I put my new knit cap atop her bulldog head for a cute photo-op. I just love it – Cookie channeling her inner Eddie Vedder.

I created this montage of spontaneous snapshots I took of Our Girl the other day when we were running errands. Tim had to run into the store and I stayed with Cookie in the car. She followed her daddy with her eyes until he was out of sight, and then continued to stare longingly from afar. When he returned about 10 minutes later, you should have seen the wiggles ensue! After all, she is daddy’s little girl!
